STERIL Lubrispec Disposable Vaginal Speculums are available with pre-lubricated blades. The lubricant is applied dry. It is hydrophilic and when in contact with the vaginal secretion, imbibes water and instantly smoothens the blade during insertion.
The lubricant has no antiseptic property and is therefore suitable for examination that require collection of any discharge for culture and sensitivity testing.
