Infant Feeding Tube

Description

STERIL Infant Feeding Tube is designed for short-term gastric aspiration and short-term liquid feeding in infants.

The tube is made from non-toxic plastic which is extruded and its flexibility or shore hardness precisely controlled by a durometer to ensure that the tube does not coil in the nasopharynx and will pass through the oesophagus easily.

The entire length of the tube has a barium line to allow for radiological confirmation of its actual position in the oesophagus and stomach and has not, during insertion, migrated into the trachea.

The feeding tube is 50cm long and has level markings between 10cm and 20cm from the tip of the catheter.

Available from Size CH 4.5 to CH 10.
