DISPOSABLE VAGINAL SPECULUM

Steril Medical manufactures disposable vaginal speculums in 4 sizes-Large, X-Large, Medium, Small, X-Small. Made from polycarbonate the speculums resist fracturing during use risking injury to the vaginal wall and cervix.

Apart from the dimensions of the speculum blades, the design pays meticulous attention to the edges of the speculum in order to ensure that the examination is as comfortable as possible. The pedicle is free of spurs that may cause superficial but painful cuts. The nut and screw will maintain speculum visual field during any lengthy examination or procedure such as cervical cauterization or biopsy.

The speculum is packed in a peel pouch that resist pin hole damage to ensure that the product is always sterile until the pouch is opened.

STERIL Disposable Vaginal Speculums are designed for making gynaecological examination easier and more comfortable for the patient.

They are available in five sizes, manufactured of clear polystyrene and all anthropmetrically shaped to ensure smooth insertion and unimpeded visualization of the cervix, fornixes and vaginal walls. Size XV is specially designed with blade size to adapt to examination of virgins and the elderly patients with atrophic introituses.

Special attention is paid to eliminate any roughness on the edges and corners of the blades of the speculum to prevent accidental cuts on the skin and mucosa during use.

The pedicles, blades and joints are constructed to prevent accidental device breakage.

The nut and screw assembly is designed to open and close the blades of the speculum easily, prevent anti-rotation of the nut and sudden accidental closure of the blades.
