Umbilical Cord Clamp

Description

STERIL Umbilical Cord Clamp is intended to replace the ligature used for tying the foetal umbilical cord following delivery.

The clamp is designed with grooves to prevent the cord from slipping off the arms of the clamp. A catch close to the hinge stops the cord from being trapped in the C-loop. The clamp locks irreversibly once the two halves are engaged in position.

To disengage the clamp cut across the C-loop or use the sharp pointed tip of a big needle to lift the T-latch in the locking device.
